Ewe Rams to Face Hull City LFC in FA Cup

Derby County Ladies have been drawn at home to face Hull City Ladies in the Second Round of the Women’s FA Cup.

The Northern Division One side are unbeaten this season and sit second in the table, behind our League Cup opponents Brighouse Town Ladies.

Manager John Bennett told DCLFC Media “This is a tricky tie and whenever a team is unbeaten, it means nothing to what league they are in.

“We know that we will have to be on our game to progress and we want to get through to the next round and see where we can get and test ourselves against the WSL sides in Round 4.

“Playing at home will be a slight advantage for us and the magic of the FA Cup will hopefully bring out the crowds again like they did at the weekend and in the FA Cup last season.

“In the meantime we will be familiarising ourselves with Hull City Ladies so that we don’t underestimate them and treat them with the respect they deserve. With them flying high, they could be our league opponents next season so the more we know now, the better chance we have of progressing.”

The tie will be played at Mickleover Sports on the 3rd December
