Ewe Rams Junior Matchday Programme Re-launched for 2019/20 Season

Derby County Ladies have re-branded their match day junior programme ahead of the 2019/20 FA National League Northern Division Campaign with Ewie’s Club registration now open to local teams and schools from across the East Midlands region.

After a successful trial season as Club Buddies, the programme is back as the new and improved Ewie’s Club in honour of our club mascot Ewie and this season all clubs that sign up for the programme will be given free Junior Season Tickets for the Ewe Rams.

Speaking to DCLFC Media, CEO Duncan Gibb said “Last season we wanted to improve our output to local teams and give them an opportunity to become acquainted with Derby County Ladies and we had numerous teams attend our matches as our Club Buddies.

“Whilst all invitee’s will remain our buddies, we felt that we wanted to get Ewie involved and she has agreed to  be our ambassador for the project going forward and will be making appearances with us across the season and that is why we changed the name.

“Many of the kids that took part in the programme came back for other games and that is what we want this programme to do, so giving our new junior season tickets to teams that sign up is another great way for them to enjoy every match with us.

“Not only will they get season tickets but when it is your club or schools turn to be the signature Ewie Club for our matches, there are many great activities on the day including an autograph session with the players, a half-time competition with prizes to be won and you get to walk out with the Ewe Rams too.”

This year will also see the programme extended to School’s and for more information on how to get your school involved, please contact
