Investing In Women’s Sport, key for Businesses say Ewe Rams Partner Your-IT Department

Derby County Ladies Club Partners Your IT Department Ltd believe that investing in sport has helped their business grow after signing up with the Ewe Rams for another season.

The Nottingham-based firm saw their company logo feature on the Foundation Team shirt last season and will continue as headline partner for the re-branded Community team for the upcoming season. The firm also sponsored the Fans Player of the Year Award that saw Director Craig Pearson attend the Official Derby County Awards Night.

Craig said “It’s been a fantastic first season as a full partner with Derby County Ladies and we’ve had many great moments already including; attending the Awards Night in the company of legends such as Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole, as well as a number of our staff playing on the Pride Park pitch in an organised club sponsors match.

“Opportunities like that are key in any relationship and we feel that we are well looked after by the Ewe Rams, securing great exposure for our growing firm. The Womens game continues to grow and the increased exposure can only be a god thing for the clubs and their partners. Other businesses will be eyeing up women’s football as a potential growth market and we are delighted to have got on board early with such a well-run, progressive club.

“We are big supporters of sport in the Midlands area, enjoying relationships with a number of other clubs including Leicestershire County Cricket Club. Like Derby County Ladies FC these are clubs that match our ethos as a developing business brand.”

Derby County CEO Duncan Gibb said “It’s been a pleasure to deal with Craig and the Team at Your IT Department from day one. They absolutely get it in terms of maximising the association with Derby County Ladies and my thoughts immediately turned to them when we were looking for a partner at the Derby County FC Awards Night. in May. It was great to see members of their team present on the night with a tangible stake hold in the event, and I was delighted to see the subsequent volume of social media interactions that they secured as a result.

“This year will see their logo exposed further across the Midlands as the Community Team are now in the East Midlands Regional League on the back of a promotion winning campaign.”
